TuControls Limited is a privately owned business established in August 2008 following the successful management buy-out of a range of key products and equipment from a company in the process of closing down.   The relevant management, engineers, technical staff and trained operators transferred with the business allowing continuity of supply to the established and loyal customer base.

TuControls now specialises in the design and manufacture of electrical and electronic control, connection and switching systems. Well established products include plugs and sockets for military communications, telephone connection modules, electronic controls for powered wheelchairs and golf trolleys, flow sensor modules for gas meters, miniature reed relays for precision switching applications, security switches for cash dispensers, and electronic controls for vehicle camera monitors.
More recent developments include a waterproof wiring kit providing outdoor mains power, a complete operating system for powered winches and electric steps for mobility vehicles, fluid level monitoring equipment for industrial refrigeration units and electrical distribution units for computers in schools.
Our unique blend of design expertise includes mechanical and electronic engineering, 2D drawing and 3D modelling, through-hole and surface mount PCB design, reed switch technology, encapsulation and microprocessor programming for control and monitoring systems.
A global partner provides a fast, efficient and economical route for readily available bulk components and sub-assemblies from China, although an increasing proportion of parts are now being sourced in Europe.    Critical processes and the more specialised production techniques are always carried out in the UK at the Lawford facility, along with final assembly, testing and distribution.
